Rehab Drive Trucks - 430T Powerhouse Crane

When a powerhouse crane went down during a critical outage, Advanced Crane Technologies was called in to provide fast, expert repairs. ACT removed the failed drive truck and transported it to our machine shop, where we replaced missing or damaged gears, pinions, gear guards, and bearings. Our team also addressed improperly machined wheel bores and diameters to restore full mechanical integrity.

In addition to mechanical repairs, ACT resolved structural interference between the endtrucks and bridge structure during equalization and recalibrated the crane’s load cell system. To ensure accuracy and compliance, we provided 180 tons of certified test weights. All repairs and recalibrations were completed within the original schedule, supporting seamless coordination with the rotor contractor and minimizing downtime for the client.
