Draft Tube Gantry Crane Design

Our scope included developing the complete structural, mechanical, and electrical design package, which covered motor selection, controls integration, conduit layouts, calculations, and component selection – as well as mechanical and structural revisions to integrate heated brake enclosures. In addition, ACT designed a custom lifting beam to support the crane’s operational requirements.

We provided submittals and design milestones, beginning with preliminary and structural packages, progressing through final design, lifting beam development, field reporting, and hoist/end truck updates, and complete as-built documentation.
