Custom three-level bridge crane system.

Advanced Crane Technologies delivered and installed a highly specialized 75-ton capacity, triple-level bridge crane system at a U.S. Army Depot. The custom configuration includes two 37.5-ton trolleys traveling on a 60-foot secondary bridge, which itself travels on a 126-foot span primary bridge—offering versatile, heavy-duty lifting capabilities. Designed to NAVFAC specifications, the system includes a state-of-the-art control package and is rated CMAA Class “D” for outdoor service with 45 feet of available lift.

The crane features a climate-controlled operator cab with armrest-mounted controls, full-length walkways on all four girders, 10 high-output flood lights, eight rail clamps for enhanced stability, dual spreader beams, and test weights for load testing up to 131%. Additional scope included the reconditioning and realignment of the 700-foot-long, 30-foot-high runway structure, replacement of conductor systems, and safe removal of an existing 60T crane along with lead paint and asbestos abatement. ACT also performed testing and training, delivering a complete, turnkey solution.
