Advanced Crane Technologies is a supplier of custom solutions to a specialized crane market. Our focus is on complex, unusual, high capacity, and/or sophisticated applications, nationwide. Our team of highly trained and experienced engineers, project managers and technicians, can design, build, and install cranes of all types and capacities, or modernize your existing crane with new state of the art controls and monitoring systems.

As a part of the Pollock Research & Design family of companies, along with Simmers Crane Design Services in Salem, Ohio and Reading Crane and Engineering, Reading PA we can bring together a team of over 20 engineers and 80 crane service technicians at six locations in the mid-Atlantic region alone. ACT is located in the Reading Crane and Engineering’s corporate offices in Reading PA.

RC&E has been in the crane business for over 100 years. The manufacturing facility in Reading, PA is currently producing over 50 cranes annually.

ACT also assists clients in developing specifications for crane procurement and modernization, as well as providing inspection and training services. We have experience in applications for hydropower, primary metals, shipyards, dockside, defense, nuclear and conventional power generation.

Advanced Crane technologies consists of mechanical/structural engineers, designers, experienced project managers, and field supervisors. Advanced Crane Technologies will design, engineer, manufacture, assemble, install, and commission material handling equipment, automation and manufacturing systems. Advanced Crane Technologies is also involved in upgrading and modernizing existing equipment to improve performance, reliability, safety, and productivity. The area in which Advanced Crane Technologies specializes is overhead bridge cranes, gantry cranes, container cranes, and related types of equipment. Advanced Crane Technologies has capabilities of handling complete turnkey projects from feasibility study/preliminary estimates through design responsibility, material procurement, construction supervision, and start-up or any single combination of these services.
